Back to Earth! What's going on?

I know, I have fallen off the planet. Life is busy. I haven't been online much. I did start a new book reading group on Yahoo if anyone is interested. Vampires, Demons, and Weres...Oh My! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VDWOM/ We discuss books and have a huge database going for authors and their novels. It's not quite a month old yet and we have 63 members and already had over 1950 posts!

I can't seem to get my nose out of my books. LOL! Although I have been dating someone lately. He's a real sweetie. He's 6' 1" tall, plays guitar, gentle brown eyes...my big teddy bear! LOL! And I'm his little Hobbit cougar. Hahahahaha! I'm 1.5 years older than him. We got another date on Saturday (July 4th). Can't wait!

I got a new car on June 13th. The Mustang was getting old and was killing me on gas. So, I parted ways with my hot sports car (sigh) and got a 2009 Toyota Yaris. I get 34 mpg. It is small but has tons of room on the inside. It is BRILLIANT red! Hahahaha! The picture is crappy because I took it with my cell phone, but here it is...

I haven't done a lot of new artwork lately either. The last thing I did was a t-shirt design for a friend of mine. It was done in pen and ink. This was my favorite, but he likes it better with the name above the wings....

So, what has everyone else been up to? Sorry I've been such a stranger.

Jeez! I haven't posted here in forever! What can I say, life's been crazy. I really got glued to my ebook reader and have been reading like mad. I didn't draw anything for a long time. I have recently done a couple of things. This is guitarist Nuno Bettencourt:

This is Phury from the J.R. Ward Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I used Emmanuel Delcour as my model. I used him for my drawing of Acheron from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series too. What can I say, I like to draw this sexy, sweet man!

Although, I don't know what could top this year: met Sherrilyn Kenyon, got to hear her tell me how much she loves my drawing and how it hangs over her desk and that she stares at it all the time, to see her get my Wren drawing and love it! What could top that?!!! Also I got to meet her sweetheart of a brother, Steven and the bubbly Alethea Kontis! They are the greatest people! So, go here to see the pics. I've been slacking with posts!

It's been a few crazy months for me. At the end of May, I came down with some crazy illness that had me sick for over 6 weeks. I had to see a specialist and basically they came up with nothing. I'm still waiting for some bloodwork results. I did two rounds of antibiotics an round of steroids and still was sick. The doctor did come up with one bit...most of my sinus/respiratory infections were brought on by acid reflux. Yup, I kid you not. After the two rounds of antibiotics I still had bronchitis and a sinus infection. They put me on meds for acid reflux and now I'm well. Go figure! But I probably have a problem with my immune system. Great... Oh, and I have asthma. Joy. At least it made me quit smoking. It's been 8 or 9 weeks.

So, being sick, I did tremendous amounts of reading. I finished Acheron Saturday. Bows to the AG!!! This had to be her best book yet! Before that, I read the entire Twilight series. Five 700+ page books in a week. I'm still trying to recuperate from the lack of sleep. I also worked on a few new drawings. It was interesting trying to draw with the asthma meds. They make me shake all over. Fun. So, here are my latest. The first is Wren, the second is Ash and the third is Sherrilyn's brother, Warchild, as Ash. I'm working on a new Ash drawing. This time I'm using Emmanuel Delcour as my model. He played Ash in Sherri's Acheron commercial. I'll post it when it is finished.
